From Dr. Vasu Ranganathan, University of Pennsylvania

Dear Friends,

Thank you all for your enthusiasm and support to participate in the
forthcoming Tamil Internet conference to be held in Coimbatore, India.
 We
are very overwhelmed by the number of abstracts that we have received
so
far.  Many researchers even wrote to us whether they still have an
opportunity to participate in the conference as the deadline is
already
past.  After all, we are all going to be together in a conference that
is
going to be held in our wonderful land of Tamil Nadu.  Can we just
ignore
those who would still want to present their work in the conference?
 Keeping
their interest in mind, we have postponed the deadline for submission
of
abstracts as follows.

*Last date for submission of abstracts: March 15th*
*Our decision for the acceptance of abstracts will be sent on March
30th.*
*Your full paper (for six pages) should arrive us on or before April
15h.*
*Our final decision about your participation will be mailed to you on
or
before April 30th. *

We request all of those who are involved in Tamil computing in one way
or
another to participate in this conference without fail.

Those who already sent their abstracts to us will be notified of our
decision as soon as possible.

We would like to remind you again of the rules and regulations related
to
the nature of abstracts and of your conference participation as below:

1) Your abstract should be written in a single page.  If it happens to
exceed to two pages, that should be fine, but definitely not more than
that.

2) Please write your name and email in your abstract.

3) If you write your abstract in Tamil, make sure it is in Tamil
Unicode
encoding.

4) Last, but not the least, please make sure that you attempt to
present
your work on Tamil computing (in any form) in the conference, rather
than
attempting to narrate your dreams, wishes and ambitions!

Let us take this opportunity to thank all the Conference Program
Committee
members, who are from various countries such as India, Srilanka,
Singapore,
France, Australia and America; and are working very hard to make this
conference a worthwhile attempt in all manners possible.

Regards,
Vasu Renganathan
On behalf of the Conference Program Committee.
